Our programs provide care for adolescents ages 14-17 and adults who are struggling with addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. The evidence-based and holistic treatment methods we use are designed specifically to address the various aspects of addictions so that we can help clients set the stage for long-term recovery.
About Our Drug Rehab Programming
At The Camp Recovery Center, we believe that recovery is more than just putting an end to addictive behaviors. We believe that it requires creating a new lifestyle that is filled with fresh insights, enhanced coping skills, and a renewed sense of self-confidence and self-worth. Our approach to treatment is based on respect and compassion, and we place a strong emphasis on caring for the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health of adolescents and adults who receive care in our programs.
The caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable professionals at The Camp work with each client to create an individualized treatment plan that is tailored to meet their unique needs and address all their concerns.
Addiction Programming Options
To meet the needs of those getting treatment for drug and alcohol addiction, we are pleased to offer residential programming and an intensive outpatient program.
Residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs are available for adolescents between the ages of 14 and 17 and adults aged 18 and older who are struggling with addictions. Treatment in our rehab program is designed to provide each individual with an opportunity to transform their mind, body, and spirit so that they can feel empowered as they work toward recovery.
We use a social model that offers strengths-based and person-centered care. Clients in the residential program at our rehab center can receive individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, medication management services, and a variety of experiential therapies. Additionally, detox services are available for clients who need a safe and monitored environment where they can go through the withdrawal process.
The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at our rehab center is available for adults age 18 and older. The program typically lasts for about 12 weeks, but the actual length of time a person stays in the program depends on their needs and the progress they make. While in the IOP, clients can get individual therapy on a biweekly basis, and they may participate in family therapy every two weeks as well. Group therapy is the main treatment method used in the IOP at our rehab center, with sessions happening three hours a day, four days a week.
Four Dimensions of Resilience
At our rehab center, we are always looking for innovative ways to enhance our clinical programming. One way we do this is by following unique therapeutic approaches within our group therapy sessions.
Dr. Jerry Lerner wrote a book titled Unraveled to Unrivaled: Embracing the Four Dimensions of Resilience, and we facilitate groups that include aspects of the guidance offered in his book. The book discusses the nature of resilience, and we have found that adding elements of this model to our general group programming is beneficial for clients as they work toward recovery.
Dr. Lerner’s four dimensions of resilience provide a 10-week outline that is based on psychoeducation and the process of reflection. It discusses how resilience can be lost and regained and how developing an understanding of the importance and benefits of rebuilding resilience can lead to peace.
Clients who study the four dimensions of resilience can discover how resilience can positively impact their emotions, their thinking process, and the way they build connections.
As we incorporate these aspects into our regular group discussions, clients not only may learn tangible steps they can take as they incorporate them into their recovery process, but they can also experience the benefit of working with other people who are learning ways to apply the same strategies in their own recovery processes.
