Autumn Ginty-Wheeler
COD Therapist
Autumn has worked as a Co-Occurring Disorder Therapist at The Camp since November 2023. She graduated with her Master’s degree in Social Work in August of 2023 from the Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton, Massachusetts and has a Bachelor’s in Theatre from Reed College in Portland, Oregon.
With an education focused primarily on psychodynamic and relational approaches to therapy and as a social worker, Autumn is passionate about the impact that systemic issues have on our mental health. Her approach to therapy is informed by various modalities including humanistic theory, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and expressive arts. In her relationship with clients, Autumn hopes to bring genuine care, a sense of humor, and an eye for noticing people’s strengths. Autumn enjoys working at The Camp because of the holistic approach to well-being, the staff’s collaborative approach to treatment, and the beautiful trees.
In her free time, Autumn enjoys reading, listening to music, thrifting, and running away with the circus.
